Privacy Policy

PlugLah is a standalone EV charger map for Singapore. We do not require an account and we keep data collection to a minimum.
What we collect
- Location (foreground only) — used to show nearby EV chargers and calculate distances. Your location is never stored on our servers.
- Anonymous usage events — when you tap a charger pin, search for a location, or navigate. These events include your approximate latitude and longitude and are stored on our infrastructure solely to help improve the app.
- Saved chargers (favourites) — stored locally on your device only. Never sent to our servers.
What we do not collect
- No name, email address, or account information.
- No persistent device identifiers.
- No payment information.
Third-party services
- Cloud infrastructure provider — hosts charger data and anonymous analytics events. Subject to their own privacy and security policies.
- LTA DataMall — source of EV charger availability data in Singapore, provided by the Land Transport Authority.
- OneMap — used for location search and geocoding, provided by the Singapore Land Authority.
Data retention
- Anonymous analytics events are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted.
Your choices
- You can deny the location permission and still browse the charger map — distance calculations and the recenter button will not be available.
- You can clear your saved chargers at any time from the Settings screen in the app.
